A bit about us
It started with the germ of an idea by cooks (and cookbook authors) Lucy Cufflin, Jo Pratt and Fran Warde: an idea to celebrate all that is ‘the cookbook’.
We're a small team working to bring the world of chefs, writers, cookbooks, recipes and really great food to your home.

In 2018 our team of dedicated foodies, food aficionados, restaurateurs, chefs, cooks and cookbook authors had produced a full-on, multi-location cookbook festival - a book and food festival mash-up with supper clubs, workshops, talks and tasters, all headlined by the lovely John Torode.
The Cookbook Festival ran alongside the Chiswick Book Festival raising thousands of pounds for charities, and in 2019 blossomed into a destination-event festival and street party, hosting a street closure, and public art and performance space.
In 2020 we expanded our diary of events to run throughout the year but continue to include workshops, supper clubs and one-off unique food events: a continuing celebration of all the many ways in which cooking and cookbooks nourish our lives.
We do it for the love of food and monies we raise go to The Felix Project: a fabulous initiative which ‘collects surplus fresh, nutritious food and re-delivers it to other charities so they can provide healthy meals and help the most vulnerable in our society’.
